security ...

by the_dawggie <the_dawggie@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 29, 2008 at 01:16 AM

In the apartment building here is taken really
seriously, and yes would be a PITA to not have
your keys/tags surgically attatched to your body.

After getting the total and utter shites with needing
to use a spare key, or the turbo timer to remove key
and use tag and put back in ... ordered a remote.

OK, no proof required of who I am required, just
gave the address and my name (which could have been
John Doe for all they cared) drove to their francise,
$75 later I have a Magic Button thing that opens and
closes the outer carpark doors. Hours of fun.

The locksmith dude that changed the lock on the storeroom
took all of 5 seconds with two simple tools.

For some reason this does not invoke feelings of
security of my everything.

Prolly be able to order a security tag without proof
of residence too.
