At $2.30/litre it is still cheap energy for personal trans****t. 

I don't believe that the current high petrol prices will be remain this 
high. A large factor in the current price is speculation. We will have to 
wait for these ****ers to lose some of their money when the economy goes 
into a real tail spin.

There are plenty of petroleum reserves remaining.  For example, a huge 
new field in Brazil which is probably larger than the Middle Eastern 
field.
