The scanners are good, in fact all my scanners are Uniden, but both CBs,
AM and UHF are quite mediocre compared to the competition, lots of
splatter and intermod on the UHF anywhere near strong signals on
adjacent frequencies, and thankfully were both bought second hand so not
a great concern. Cordless phone seemed a bargain compared to similar
models i looked at at the time... And the list goes on.
And Uniden have the worst customer service of any company i know. Good
service department though.
I'm not saying they are bad products, I just know there are better
products for the money compared to what I purchased in a lot of
cir***stances.
I'll be a bit more wary buying one of their products (scanners excluded)
next time.
