Had one more problem.  When I came to fit the sump all the bolts lined
up except the 2 at the back so I had to drill and tap some more holes. 
All worked out well in the end and I have a brand new engine that runs
really well but it could have ended badly.  Even though it was
basically the same engine they change so much to put them in another
vehicle that you can easily come unstuck.  When I had almost finished
it crossed my mind that the Magna may have a different cam and run like
sh*t with the Triton engine management system so I was very happy to
hear it run.

PS. Take care when take the sump off the Triton unlike the Magna where
you can get all the bolts from the outside and remove the sump in one
piece, there are two bolts up inside the sump, you have to take the
small sump pan off first to get at them.
