An old lady used to come into the servo with her blue-smoke generator (an
EJ Premier Holdon) As I poured yet another quart of oil into the ol'd grey
motor. I asked her why she had cardigan buttons between each plug lead and
spark-plug. The piece of copper-wire went into one hole and out the other
to
the plug. She assured me "it stops it burning so much oil"
