Actually they do pretty well considering, they don't aquaplane, as I seem
to 
have a nice match of weight for copntact area, I'm only running 255/85x16 
unlike most 4x4's run fats 285 & wider. I tried 265/75x16's for 6 months
and 
sold them, they were slippery in the wet, especially for a dualcab with 
minimal load on the tail.
Most of my milage is onroad nowdays, but I still don't do enough milage to

warrant 2 sets of tyres, and lack of grip offroad can be deadly too, no 
point having a locker and LSD if the tyres don't get a grip on the
terrain.
Yeah I can't stop like a BMW, but I can't accelerate like one either and
can 
see further ahead :P
