Nothing, but considering the bleeder nipple is usually at the highest
point
of the calliper what little air that managed to get sucked back in past
the
threads isn't going to go anywhere and would easily be pushed out on the
last stroke.

Easiest, cheapest and safest way I know of to bleed brakes is with a tube
connected to the bleeder nipple immersed into a container of clean brake
fluid. Gives a perfect fluid seal and makes bleeding brakes a 5 minute one
man operation.
