Yeah those engines have caught my eye, as has the adapter kits. Wouldnt 
mind one of the big Chev diesels, but fairly costly IIRC?

I definitely would prefer injection anyway - and I'd have gas fitted.
The 1UZ-FE would definitely be great in a Hilux, but even with the added 
weight of the Cruiser, those engines are good for 200KW in stock form - 
that'd give the thing reasonable performance I'd have thought?
