I have a problem with bicycles on the road, however
would never harm them. In my mind they are not
valid road users - however you could argue that -
If I'm crossing the road or walking on the road I'm
not a valid road user. If I hop on a motorcycle I'll
get my arse sent to jail for doing anything wrong,
or if it is unregistered.

Fact is bikes can do damage to folk's property.
They need at least rego plates and whatever small
fee for that. It helps them too - if cycle is stolen.

What I don't like is they decide to "be a pedestrian
now" at a red 'light, either 'cycle through it as if it
didn't exist. If you are a road user - follow the ****ing
ARRs for ****s sake!

I've seen a 'cycle crash straight into the side of
a turning car that was in the right - 'light was red -
so why do we have someone fly right by into the
intersection causing damage to the vehicle that
was in the right, causing damage to the 'cycle
rider who was in the wrong.

I don't believe the actions (I heard it on radio news)
were appropriate. That said,

'cycles do not keep up with road traffic in many
cases, and I also think they are Darwinian for
deciding to ride them in traffic, or break ARRs
as they always do.
