I used to do that when I was a kid. Loads of fun :)

If anyone knows Church Street in Richmond (Melbourne) they'll know it has
a 
****ing great hill at one part that the trams go up and over, and many
years 
ago for a lark when I was pissed one day I got an old tredley and told a 
mate with an XA GT to fang up the hill as hard as he could behind a peak 
hour packed tram that was almost near the top while I sat on the bike and 
hung on to the rear quarter window.

I have no idea how fast he was going but it must have been around 80 mph
or 
so, and *just* before he reached the tram he whacked on the brakes. I let
go 
of the car and sailed past the slowly creeping tram at a blurring speed 
pedalling my legs as fast as I could.

After I past it I looked back and saw this great cloud of sand and dust as

the driver flung on the brakes, and about 15 people jump off the tram and 
look at this dumb **** on the bike breaking a land speed record as he
sailed 
over the crest of the hill.

Must have looked funny from inside the tram :)
