Reminds me of a mate years ago. He and another mate had to take a load of
rubbish to the local tip using his father's old Bedford tray truck. He
comes roaring into the tip, then tries to a handbrake slide. Handbrake is
a band arrangement around the tailshaft. It grabs, but the tyres also
insist on staying tractified to the ground. Both axles snapped. 

Old man not impressed.
