Always will be? Says who?
If  a country has no ex****t market and impoverished locals, the prices
they 
can get for food is relatively low. Compare that to the world demand for 
energy which is climbing daily, pu****ng prices through the roof.
Not too hard to see where this could lead, is it?

That's totally incorrect. Try explaining the multiple famines throughout 
Africa that occurred while the local warlords had plenty of money to buy 
weapons and feed their own troops.
