Our 06 Impreza which has an alarm has been left sitting for more than a 
week on several occasions, it started without any sign of the battery 
going flat, the op's car has very similar electrics so I can't imagine 
there will be a problem unless the battery is suspect.
I know modern cars with alarms etc do suck a bit of power when parked 
but 12 days shouldn't flatten the battery.
Possibly why batteries go flat is because many people think of "low 
maintenance" batteries as no maintenance, my wifes car had a starting 
problem so I unscrewed the battery caps and found the battery was very 
low on electrolyte, I now check it regularly and have had no more 
problems with slow cranking.
