Both when they *were new* and when they were 50 years old!?????
Even if you did that, your memory and the vehicle itself would rather
complicate a direct comparison.

Temperature controlled? Heat is another enemy of rubber.

Possibly, but a modern equivalent is not the same as the originals when
new.
Probably says more about your driving than the tyres themselves.
I'd love to see some real wet weather braking distances, or G forces :-)
