Not quite.

A road manace would be someone who thinks they're **** hot but can't drive
a 
nail into a pound of butter. Sadly such people never seem to grasp that 
they're crap at it.

I drove it once in the rain when I got caught in an unexpected shower, and

it wasn't a pleasant experience. Not because of anything nasty the thing 
would do on a wet road, but because you simply got drenched. The canvas
hood 
offered about as much protection from the elements as driving a
convertible 
in the rain with the top down and using an umbrella for cover.

It stopped about as well as you would expect a 2000lb vehicle that had the

acceleration ability of a postie's bike, small unboosted drum brakes and 
**** tyres would stop: Terrible.

On the plus side, because it was such an "interesting" vehicle to drive on

the road, you automatically became more aware of what was going on around 
you.
