Re: Registering a kit car in Australia

The individual "approvals" needed for Oz are too expensive to seriously 
contemplate for one off designs.
There are a number of kitcar suppliers in Oz  & each has undertaken this 
process so that the builder/purchaser does not have to.
Effectively (as I understand things) they have "Type Approval".
If in doubt contact several & they can give precise & accurate advice.
Regarding the "Caterham", I am pretty sure there is an equivalent look
alike 
offered in Oz, probably under license.
