I don't know the T&C, but if it's like 95+% of cars today, including 
Chryslers, the gear position switch and the neutral safety switch are 
one and the same (OEMs tend to call it "transmission range sensor", 
aftermarket calls it neutral/park safety switch or similar).  It's 
certainly a good possibility to be the problem, but the best approach is 
to use schematics (Chrysler - not Haynes) and a multimeter to prove or 
disprove it.  Short of that you'd need a calibrated crystal ball to know 
for sure.  You could of course take a gamble and just replace the TRS.
