jack there is a procedure for getting the air out and it does require the
use of a vacuumpump and a stopper with a tube in it to seal off the
resorvoir.If you are creative you can make one of these. keep in mind that
if the inner tie rod seals are leaking the nise will come back. They
probably replaced your pump because you were complaining of a noise,
normally this noise is caused by a faulty rack and NOT the pump. Also
driving this vehicle and turning the wheels form one stop to the other
will purge the air from the system.
