With regard to not getting fuel and given the mileage, has the fuel pump
ever been replaced? Also not sure if that year has a replaceable fuel
filter or not, but that also would be a possibility in my mind.
The circumstances/situation you describe where you accelerate while
already
at high speed would call for a high volume of fuel and the symptoms you
describe would seem to indict to a delivery problem.
This could be related to the trans error codes, but also could be
independent too.

engine is 2.7 mileage is 168380 not real sure on maintenance
history. when i do about 65-70 the car jerks like it is not getting
gas the more i push on the gas the more in jerks if i let off the gas
and the rpms and mph drops below 2500rpms and the mgh below 65 it stop
until it reaches the point. these are the codes i have for the
transmission.OK so i took it and got the fault codes p0731,gear 1
ratio
incorrect,, p1776 solenoid valve stuck in l/r mil code 071ENHANCED,
and the last one isp0841 trans fluid
press sensor/switch A ckt range/perf
