Nope... Ashton has a boner for me because I wont do "repairs" that I feel
uncomfortable with....
He fails to realize that I enjoy a very good reputation with my customers
because my repairs come in under the estimate and because they are
dependable. Ashton feels that , at over $100/hour door rate, I should turn
my customers into Guinea pigs trying to nurse a few extra miles out of
something that is very likely nearing the end of it's service life....
period.
He fails to realize that my recommendations are borne of a considerable
amount of experience..... and while he may be prepared to sit on the
roadside in the name of "frugality", my customers do not share that point
of
view... They have places to go and jobs to do.... Doing some ***** fix and
saving a hundred dollars doesn't mean much when the truck is dead and you
lost $500...
The world has "over-achievers" and "under-achievers"... but the vast
majority fall somewhere between the two.
Refre****ngly, you didn't have to scroll through 12 lines of stuff you
already read to see my reply....
