Another reason for accelerating towards a red light is because if nobody 
is sitting on the sensor at the intersection, that side of the street 
may be skipped from changing to the green signal.  Some Sloths get 
caught because they roll over the sensor and park in the intersection. 
They don't get a green signal and become frustrated, some eventually 
going through the red and others waiting until somebody pulls up behind 
them and trips the sensor.
