I'm 35 and feeling it lurking around the corner.. :)
Maybe find a friendly DIY car guy near you? Pay him rather than a shop.
You could probably sit there and share some stories while he works on
your car. If you pay in alcoholic beverages, pay *after* the job is done
;)
