   My passenger side does it. I replaced it once and I think it's 
getting wet. I've cleaned it with WD40 and then greased everything and 
it now sleeps inside so I hopefully won't have to worry about it. I 
remember the place I got the motor was the best price. Seems like it had 
"hydraulic" in the name and they were famous for their parts for 
convertible top mechanism parts.
