The dealer will make more money and your engine will get new oil more
often. And your wallet will be lighter too. Just make sure the oil
filter is replaced as well.

Today's oil monitors are much better than the mileage counters of
years ago. Don't be surprised if it shows an interval up to 12K miles
depending on driving condition.
