Removing the intake and exhaust manifolds

by "Dennis" <dennis@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 16, 2008 at 12:23 PM

I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler with the 4.0 engine.
I need to remove the intake and exhaust manifolds. After evaluating the
situation it looks like some of the mounting bolts are almost impossible
to
get to with out pulling the engine. It looks like after removing the power

steering pump I might be able to reach a couple of them. I have a shop
manual but it isn't much help, it just says to remove the bolts. Also is
it
going to be possible to use a torque wrench when assembling? Can some one
who has experience with this procedure please give me some tips on how
this
is done and what to expect before I get started. Thanks so much for any
help.

Thanks,
Dennis B
