I didn't think any of the im****ts had enough weight or down force to keep
the front end on the road at that kind of speed - bet you could have beat
that one in court <g>.

When the original oil "crisis" hit in the 70's, I had a class design some
mileage computers that we checked against the time-tested quart jar
method. 
You could do that before computers became integral to engine control -
likely not so easy anymore.  Anyway, they decided my 383 Hemi Charger was
the vehicle to test it on.  We ran a 10 mile stretch of I-25 north of the
Academy and the results were really surprising - 28 mpg at 40 and 45 mph,
26 at 50, 24 at 60, 23.5 at 70  - and 17 at 80, 14 at 85! I think the 75+
was a combination of the back 2 barrels opening and the wind, but it was
an
interesting experiment.

Wish that water thing did work - I can haul lots of water in the bed of
the
MJ!
