The seat base "adapter" can be a problem. Procar uses a square four bolt
pattern that is pretty much the current industry standard, if there is
one.
Make sure you get the right base adapter at any rate. The slider is
usually
in the base adapter. This adds a bit of undesirable height in some
applications. It shouldn't be a problem in a CJ. I couldn't praise the
set
of Procar seats I used to own enough. That was over ten years ago, hope
they still keep the same quality standards.
One time I got a set of custom made demo seats, locally made by a van
conversion outfit, and shoehorned them into a Toyota FJ40. It was pretty
economical considering the quality of the seats and they fit great, after
a
bit of welding. That vehicle has a particularly bad non-standard seat
base
bolt pattern.
