If you check your local yellow pages for truck spring shops, they should
be able to make you some quick and easy. I had a truck spring shop
replace my springs and they made up the assembly straps for them as
needed.
They basically hold the spring pack square until you bolt them in and
the U-bolts take over the job. I have one left working on my 8 year old
packs, one other is still 'there' and the rest are gone.
These straps are riveted onto a leaf also.

They make them so they might make custom ones.
