Both your citations here can be considered to be incorrect. Both 'do' and
'has' would be perfectly correct if the word 'testicles' is being used as
a singular concept (which it likely is considering that Hughes is in fact
mono-testicular as well as having virtually nonexistant testosterone
levels by his own admission) or relating to a general thought or idea.

Either one is correct. 'Yourself' could be used as a pronoun, and 'your
self' could be relating to one's self or persona. I believe the latter is
more accurate.
