I use the Silblade wipers, the newer model with the carbon fibre holder.
Never squeak and survive western summers and winters.  Available in 
short sizes.  However I've discovered that a 1 inch overlength rarely 
causes a problem and you can always take a pair of scissors to the blade 
if it does.
