Race / religion / politics, everybody carries different baggage. I believe
thinking people can agree on that but, they won't completely agree on much
else. I too am outraged about how readily cops use what amounts to a
(potentially) lethal weapon. However, I'm also outraged at how often the
public uses lethal force on cops. It's a chicken / egg type of question
and
both sides can be strongly argued. I'll be honest, when I was watching
that
for the first time, I definitely thought the cop was rude / short with the
person but, not catching the door hitting the person (and it's hard to
tell
if it was on purpose or by accident), I thought the driver might push the
officer backwards into oncoming traffic. Could it be that the officer felt
he had himself in a really bad position for confrontation and could not
risk
a pu****ng / shoving match? Watch it again and think about that. I do think
his crappy day (or something) effected his lack of patience / courtesy in
the situation. I'm also against someone telling me that I should be
outraged. So when someone has a somewhat different take on something like
this, I respect their opinion and go on.
