That is why I used the word "tend", I know that they make heavy ones.
Coming off of a 1990 model, I am guessing that those are 14 or 15 inch
wheels, and they are alloys, so I doubt if they are extremely heavy, but
I wouldn't place any bets on it until they hit the scale.

I do wonder why they went that heavy with those, though Mazda has no
problem putting 18 pounders on a Miata.
Have you considered other wheels down the line, at least to try a set
and see if it makes any big difference?

They even take an extra lug nut, which I don't understand unless they
are just using universal parts amongst cars.
My 4 lug hubs handle over 200 hp with no problem. I don't think that
they needed to put 5 on the NC to handle what is still a very
low-powered car going by most non-economy car standards.

Agreed, I don't think that a person would find either of us mounting
those on our Miatas.
