Can you tell if anything is dripping the oil from above?

One part that comes to mind immediately in this area is the cam angle 
sensor, which has a seal that is prone to leak.

I would take a look at the rubber heater hoses and see if they have oil 
on them. If so, the CAS seal is probably bad and it is a cheap and 
fairly easy replacement.
