I have a 93 rx-7 fds3 ... My check eninge light keeps coming on.. i
have a boost guage hooked up, when i give it any boost at all the light
will come on, but i can turn the switch off and back on again while
drive'n and it will boost on down the road but as soon as i release the
pressure the light will come back on and i'm back to where i started.
Now i'm driving it with one eye contantly on the boost guage ...
sometimes i won't even boost the car and the light will still come
on... i've tried the engine codes where you ground the 'ten' and
'gnd' and the this is what it does...... as soon as i turnt eh key the
light will come on for about five secounds... it will go out for about
a half secound...then come back on and stay on is that a code????
and which one???... any ideas on what it might be without have to do
the check engine stuff?? i've even tried clearing the codes by
unhooking the battery and depressing the brake...didn't help! same
light pattern this is my last shot of fixing the promblem myself
before i hand the dealers and arm and a leg to fix it for me....
