It is with great regret that I am selling my two RX-7's. Both 1985 GS
model. Cars are located in De Pere WI and must be picked up. Here are
the details:
#1 California car, all paint stripped off, some light surface rust, NO
body cancer or holes. Has never seen salt.Transmission has been pulled
and put into car #2. Interior is pretty shot from years of sun damage.
Has four matching aftermarket rims, burgundy with polished silver outer
rim, tires are in good shape as well. The real beauty in this is the
motor. When I purchased it 10 years ago, it had just been rebuilt, and
I put all of 40 miles on it. Also has a brand new wind****eld.
#2 Wisconsin car. Has some rust in the rocker panels on the driver's
side. Has a sunroof. Good interior. Everything works, but it has two
problems. The engine is shot. It will run on a healthy dose of starting
fluid and then die as the apex seals are shot. Second,there is an
electrical problem going to the fuel pump. The pump does work if you
jumper power to it, but there was a stereo system installed by
someone(not me) that hacked up the wiring harness pretty well.
Transmission is from car #1 and the clutch system was completely
replaced 3000 mile ago. Car drives very well. All power options work,
except antenna. It is cream color, and was repainted. It has some light
hail dings on the hood, but the hood on #1 is perfect and ready for
paint. Both cars have been stored indoors. I ran this car until last
fall when the engine died and then put it away.
Has the original mazda rx7 rims with nearly new cooper tires. The
stereo has been removed.
I am asking for $1200 for the pair,and this includes any and all extra
parts I have laying
around.
