I'm going to open up the old one...

It's been replaced, engine runs fine now. Mechanic is knowlegeable in
the rotary area, no questions there. I just wanted to know what 'magic'
was in the little box and if I was paying for limited market, odd shape,
odd connectors, expensive components, or what.
