F1 Re****tedly Wants Surfers Paradise

It's been re****ted that, with the problems with the Australian F1 GP in 
Melbourne, the Queensland govt. was approached by some of Bernie's 
people asking about moving the event to Surfers Paradise.

It seems to me that the intent would be for F1 to replace Champ Car, 
rather than join their race weekend or schedule an additional race
weekend.

While the op****tunity to host the F1 Grand Prix may seem like an 
attractive offer on the surface, my opinion is that the folks involved 
in the Surfers race would be more inclined to making money with Champ 
Car vs. losing money with F1.
