I'm not in agreement that TG screwed F1 in the states; they did a good
enough job on their own without Tony's help. He just provided the venue.
I think the only way to merge North American open wheel is to remove the
current antagonists from the picture. No TG, no KK. To work, both have
to give up their stake. Tony will have Indy. KK will have his team.
The management of the series needs to be in the hands of others.
The promises of the IRL have not been fulfilled. The damage is
terminal. Fans gone. The only way out is to merge under new
management, one without axes to grind or grudges to hold. It will never
be the same, but survival of the s****t is the point in question.
The arrogance of a few on this newsgroup reflect that dogma that is
destroying open wheel.
