I sorta agree but I think its going to piss off some of the players on
the CCWS side. bad timing. these are businesses. making this change
right now is a bad business decision. it's not even good for the IRL
other than it will most likely make all their players look good
because none of the CCWS teams (well at least the ones who don't play
indy 500) will have to deal with a learning curve. it will also piss
off any of the slower players as it will most likely mean cars/teams
will get bumped from races, and what business sense does it make to
tow to a race you may not play in? in NASCAR everybody gets something
including AD time for practice and qual. CART hasn't had practice or
qual time on TV in years, so no TV revenue there...
yeah, its the right idea, just wrong time to do it. this crap
should have been happening at the end of the season. these people are
all idiots. we should boycott them anyway, I am pretty tired of it
all and I certainly won't be happy to watch those crappy dallara
chassis. don panoz must not be happy about this either...
