you know how you get it right this time? get rid of george. you really
want someone who's stupidity end a racing genre in this country having
power over (what's left of) that genre? anton may give platitudes about
open wheel in this country, but the thing he really cares about is the
formerly great irl 500. this is why those cars, unsafe at any speed that
they are, perform better there than at any other track on the schedule.
nascar doesn't revolve around daytona. f1 doesn't revolve around monaco.
straight line fever isn't infatuated with the us nationals. so why should
open wheel revolve around one race? it's a detriment to ALL open wheel
racing that basically says all of you other races are as valuable and
im****tant as the end result of that jalepeno burrito coated with habenero
wasabi sauce you had last night.
