slam NASCAR?  its a basic fact.  virtually no rules enforcement prior
to the death of the icon (oh lets see, the car has the same roof,
trunk and hood of the "stock car" so we can still call it a "stock
car"...even though it really just is a SPEC series without the name,
ala Grand AM DP's.... oh wait,  SAME sanctioning body...fancy
that...)  so now they do some rules enforcement with the "Car of
Tomorrow" (is that straight from Disneyland?)

Its racing when everyone has the same advantage to winning.  if youre
not one of the good ole boys its gonna be tough to get to the top.  it
was a pleasant surprise to see Montoya win a road course after years
of watching those obnoxious #3500  "stock cars" attempt to negotiate a
road course.  I watched many a road race expert lead that race only to
be taken down because they were punted out of the way by one of the
GOB or to fall back in pit stop because they had a crappy pit box
location or secondary pit crew. the only reason tony stewart won the
daytona busch race was because of blocking behind him preventing a
faster car from coming up and contending.

even NASCAR admits their "racing" is a show.  just go ask Bokke or any
of their senior officials in "race control."  its all entertainment.
if people ain't watching the rce on TV,  they ain't making money.
