I agree.  CART was always a feeder and/or triple-A to F1.  That's the
part I never liked about it.

I think the CC teams will do well.  Look at Ganassi and Penske's
performance when they returned to Indianapolis.  Look at Newman-Haas's
results out of the box when they were formed in 1983.  The good CC
teams are first class racers with Type A attitudes.
