Sorry to say, they've both been lacking for many years, IMHO. I'm just
glad the split is over---I just wish it would have happened many, many
years ago.
My other issue with the merger/absorption/whatever-you-want-to-call-it,
is that they didn't find a way to use the DP01s alongside the current
IndyCar equipment--I think that would have been fun (plus Walker and
Forsythe might have stayed in the series)--I think it was short-sighted
of CC to have Panoz create a road-only car--or at least not have specs
on how to make them oval-ready.
Well, what's done is done... Just looking forward to this weekend's ALMS
and F1 races, then worry about AOWR next weekend...
