wow, put the koolaid down. Montoya won the irl 500, that doesn't make him

an irl champion. he led 167 laps and killed the field in his only irl
start. he won the cart champion****p as a rookie. deFerren was 2 time
cart
champion, won 1 irl 500 and was a suit for BAR Honda. again, not a irl
champion nor did he actually drive in F1. Michael andretti failed just as

bad as you claim daMatta and zanardi did in F1, only a champion in the irl

by way of car owner and hondas wallet. Villeneuve won the last real indy
500, cart champion****p, and did well in his 3 seasons at williams F1
winning
the WDC in 97. Bordais is 4 time champcar champion now in F1, albiet in a

****y ride but he made it. Any F1 tests or invites to irl drivers were
courtesy of honda but were not for auditioning for rides. you honestly
think marco andretti would ever get an F1 ride? Danica? not a chance.
the
next driver with any chance of an F1 drive is graham rahal. guess what,
he
was a champcar driver. even his own dad was smart enough not to let him
drive in the irl.

Yes the irl is a joke. what happened to the premise of an all oval series

with white american dirt track drivers?? take tony georges dick out of
your
mouth and realize that he ruined open wheel racing 13 years ago and it
will
never be the same again. the only reason the irl is the remaining series
is
that the champcar owners had the sense to stop blowing their own money.
you
better pray to whoever you pray to that NA$CAR races at the brickyard
every
summer because if not, there is no money for the irl to fill their fields.
