92 Infiniti G20 177k Miles Electrical Problem?
As I was driving, three dash lights came on: Battery, Antilock Brake,
and Parking Brake. I drove the car another 50 miles to get it home.
After about one half hour of driving, the three lights began to flash
off and on. Each time they came on, the engine revved up. If I
turned on the lights or the heater, the fla****ng and the engine
revving would happen more frequently.
At home, I found the battery would only charge to 9 volts, and the
alternator had no output. I will replace the battery and the
alternator, but I worry that the odd combination of fla****ng lights
and the revving up may indicate other problems. The CEL never
illuminated but I will take it to AutoZone for a code scan.
Does anyone have an opinion as to the reason for the triple set of
fla****ng lights and the revving up condition. Thanks for any insights.
