You have a gasoline leak in the engine compartment. It is leaking a very
small amount of gas, but the thing is that a very small amount of gas will
produce a very strong smell. The air intake for the vent system is under
there too, and it's bringing in the va****s.
The thing about a small leak is that eventually it becomes a big leak, and
starts spilling gasoline all over your hot engine. This is bad. Check it
out and find the leak.
