> There is nothing to stop the engine from dropping to idle speed in gear.
are you COMPLETELY ****ing stupid?
The TRANSMISSION prevents that, you ****TARD.
Do you even OWN a car? God damn, I cannot believe the stupid ass ****
some of you people say. If the torque converter locks up, as is the
case, AGAIN, at highway speeds, then the engine will not drop to idle.

**** you, WANE.
The assertion is CORRECT. The POINT was to explain WHY hybrids SHUT
the engine off or how you can save fuel by using aggressive coasting
in neutral INSTEAD of permitting compression braking to rob your
kinetic energy.

I picture **** coming out of yours, because that is what your head is
filled with.

REALLY? LOL. Try it sometime. On a downgrade.

OF COURSE it matters what GEAR you are ****ing in. If you could
up****ft, then you will accomplish the same thing. But, when in TOP
GEAR, you CANNOT up****ft.
I was EXPLICITLY CLEAR in the original comment about HIGHWAY SPEEDS,
not moping around town you ****in idiot.
> I think it had something to do with *you* driving down a blind alley.
I think it had to do with your being an unqualified IDIOT.
