Slightly OT: Broadspeed and delivery times

by "Madge O'Reene" <madge@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 19, 2006 at 05:38 AM

I've been trying to buy a car from Broadspeed. Their website quoted 2w
delivery times. Well, nearly two weeks after applying, I've had an
email saying that they can get me one as quickly as "10-12 weeks". OK,
no money has been taken and there's no commitment from either side, but
they're still advertised 2 weeks and this has really annoyed me as I've
sold my car in anticipation of having the replacement at the latest in
the first half of May. Is this typical of Broadspeed? Should I just
accept spending a few quid more and buy elsewhere?
