The Loach company again!
I tried to buy a ****sche from them last year. I had chosen the car
myself from an official ****sche dealer they co-operate with and they
were supposed to bring the car over for me.
I gave them 10% deposit and the rest of money on delivery as per their
site.
The result: after 5 months of waiting nothing happened.
The first time after some delay they told me the car had arrived, to
find out that it was...the wrong car.
Following that they told me the car would be delivered the following
week about three times in total...but in vein.
I spoke with the german dealer to find out what was happening and I
realised that LHD ****sche had never spoken with the germans for the
car that was supposed to be already on its way.
After putting pressure -because the price for the car was very good-
they spoke with the germans car and made a contract with the german
dealer. Another marathon following that asking for all the money
upfront or offering me the option of paying the German dealer myself!
Don't fall for that. I confirmed with the Germans and even if I did
pay the money myself, the contract would be between the german dealer
and LHD ****sche. My name wouldn't be in the contract. The reason is
that LHD ****sche as a company would not pay VAT for a car older than 6
months -thus the good price- while as an individual I would have to.
After further negotiations and although they were promising they would
pay the germans and bring the car for me as in the initial agreement-
contract I had signed with LHD ****sche, they never did. Thy started
asking for higher price for the car and then...e delays and so on...As
far as communication is concerned I had to go from Leeds to their
Nottingham office -same one with MironetShowroom- myself 5 times in
total. They wouldn't answer my calls and all the information I was
getting was by the germans.
After 5 months I managed to get my deposit back. Thy even deceived the
german dealer because although the signed a contract for the car they
never paid them and as a result the germans kept the car on hold for
about three months - they had to give them notice twice before they
released the car back for sale.
Stay away from them!
PS I bought a car directly from a german official dealer and that was
a different experience: gentlemen, professional, no complains at all.
